Designated as Senior Advocate in the Full Court meeting held on 9.4.2000 by the Allahabad High Court, which was subsequently notified in The Gazette on 19.8.2000 by the Allahabad High Court.

Appointed as Addl.Advocate General of Uttrakhand after bifurcation of State of U.P. for The State of Uttarakhand and State of U.P.

Elevated as Judge of Uttaranchal High Court On 3rd July,2003 and confirmed on 26th June,2004.

Appointed as Presiding Officer, Cyber Regulations Appellate Tribunal, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Information Technology,Govt. Of India.

Publication of Books

Author of Law Books i.e. Commentary on Rent Control Act (IV Edition has been published With a forward of Hon’ble Mr.Justice Markandey Katju and Vth edition by Hon’ble Mr.Justice V.S.Sirpurkar, Judge Supreme Court Of India.

On 4th August,1974, U.P.Govt.awarded Sahityik Puraskar on the book Muslim Vidhi in Hindi.

On 21st to 23rd September,2007 represented the High Court of Uttarakhand at National Judicial Academy at Bhopal in the Conference of Justice on the subject "Economic And Commercial Law in India in the emerging Global Scenario: Current Issues and Trends".

Attended NZA North Zone Regional Judicial Workshop on Techniques and Tools for Enhancing Timely Justice (Delhi) held from 28thSeptember to 30th September,2007 organized by National Judicial Academy.

Inaugurated Moot Court on 16th December, 2007 at B.S.M. Law College, Roorkee.

Participated in the inaugural function of Mediation Center and delivered speech in this regard on 26th April,2008.

Participated in the Seminar held at Delhi on 2nd, 3rd and 4th May,2008 on "Role of State Legal Services Authority" with Special Reference to the "Crime Against Women" and "Enforcement of Poverty Alleviation" and other beneficial programmes.

Participated in the North Zone Mediation and Conciliation Meet hosted by the Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh on 17th and 18th May,2008.

Participated in a workshop on the subject Laws both Central as well as State, which infringe upon the domain of the Panchayati Raj Institution held on 24th and 25th May,2008 at Dehradun.

Attended various seminars and as a resource person in the conferences organized by the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal.

Participated in a Seminar organized by Indian Institute of InformationTechnology, Allahabad at Allahabad on 7th May,2009 to apprise about functioning of the Tribunals and IIIT Role, if any.

Addressed on the topic of Issues of Jurisdiction in the Orientation Course on `Adjudication of Cyber Crimes’ (DJA/T-8/09) on 16th May,2009 at Delhi Judicial Academy, Karkardooma, Delhi.

Participated in an International Conference at London as a Speaker invited by International Council of Jurists, 24, Buckingham Gate, London, and addressd on “Use of Information and Communication Technology in Administration of Justice" on 13.6.2009.

Twice awarded vocational excellence award by Rotary International, District 3120 and 3100, for services rendered to the society.

In the field of sports, I have been taking part in Golf tournaments and is member of Governors Golf Club, Nainital.

Elected twice as Vice President of High Court Bar Association and Vice President of Uttarakhand Bar Association on creation of Uttaranchal (now Uttarakhand ) on 9th November,2000.
